Unexpected interaction behaviours using stacked bars & columns - PBI Desktop visuals

hello,

I'm having a strange issue with the interactions between a stacked column & line visual and a stacked bar chart, it's a bit hard to explain so hopefully this is clear...

The 2 visuals look like this, the top has sales by month, the bottom visual has sales by client

If I click on one of the client bars in the bottom visuals I expect to see the cross filtering as per the below screenshots, with the columns still visable but ghosted out and only the selected section highlighted

However, the unexpected behaviour occurs only when I select the green part of client 1 or 3, it does not affect any other colour or client - see below

when the green part of client 1 or 3 is selected in the bottom visual, the top visual only shows the highlighted part and nothing else and I can't for the life of me figure out why. I have tried deleting and rebuilding the visuals from scratch but still have the same issue.

Has anyone else experienced this or have any idea why it might be occuring?

Thanks!

    Hi EdFord77 ,

Based on my testing, please try the following methods:

    1.Create the simple table.

2.Create the column chart visual and drag the field into the values.

3.Create the bar chart visual and drag the field into the values.

4.Click on the client bars visual and the column chart shows selected section. The result is shown below.

If the above ones can’t help you get it working, could you please provide more raw data(exclude sensitive data) with Text format to make a deep troubleshooting? It would be helpful to find out the solution.
