Unexpected filter behaviour

Please refer to the screenshots below.

  • So whenever I apply a Report Filter (first screenshot) the date slicer seems to automatically adjust itself to 5-5-2018 (unwanted behaviour).
  • This doesnt seem to happen when I apply the same filter "B" within the report itself (second screenshot). The date slicer doesnt change at all and stays at 4-06-2018.

Some users prefer to use the Report level filters and are confused by this inconsistent behaviour. Is there any way to fix this?

  • Hi TT77

By my test, I'm afraid that there is no good way for us to fix this.

As a workaround, you could use Sync Slicers to replace report level filter.

    Best Regards,

    Cherry

Thanks for reply, unfortunately most of the Report Level Filters cannot be included within the report itself with Sync Slicers option enabled. Due to the lack of space and limited filter options.
