Unexpected XML declaration OData feed

Hi all,

I'm currently struggling with the following error :

DataSource.Error: We couldn't parse OData response result. Error: Unexpected XML declaration. The XML declaration must be the first node in the document, and no white space characters are allowed to appear before it. Line 1, position 1398598

It looks like the problem is white space in certain columns, however I trimmed all text columns which didn't solve the problem. I also read a similar thread here with the proposed solution of clearing the cache. This didn't help either.

Has someone had a similar problem and found the solution? 🙂

Thanks in advance!

Hi Stephen,

I eventually changed it in the source data. Since the solution in the link you shared was not the most straight forward, I looked for other solutions. Therefore, I'm not sure if I can already accept your solution. Perhaps if someone else tries it and shares his or her result below we can.
