    Thank you for youu response.  I'm having issue when I trying to get data from Oracle database using Direct Query.  But when I tried to see if SQL Server database source also has the same issue.  I'm actually able to get data for SQL server database using Direct query.  

     

    Per the On-premises gateway requirement link below, for both Oracle and SQL Server database, it is mentioned as Gateway is required.  But im able to get the datafor SQL Server database but not for Oracle database.

    So thinking is this issue has to do with something else.
