Unexpected Error - An object that has been removed from the Model tree cannot be modified

Hi, I'm getting this error after I removed some tables in combined tables in query editor and saved and have chosen to apply the changes later. Pls help how can I proceed.

Hi Lydia, the table is not loaded and deleted. I just removed the table as one of the merged tables in query editor. Anyways, this is already ok. I happened to restart my laptop and I already proceeded after that.

Thanks.

@ScorpionKing,

Would you mind sharing the PBIX file and source files so that I can test?

Additionally, instead of removing tables, I would recommend you right click these tables in Query Editor and uncheck “Enable load”( this way, these tables will not be loaded and refreshed in Report View), then check if you can apply changes.

Lydia
