Unable to work with ODATA feed .

Dear Members,

 

i have loaded ODATA FEED in PowerBI Desktop .

 

data source is SAP ODATA . but when I start working on it , such as creating custom columns it willtake too much time and at the end I got error as per below snapshot.

You're getting this error because the SAP OData service is likely timing out or rejecting the connection due to heavy data load or long processing time.

Quick Fixes:

  1. Apply filters early in Power BI to reduce data volume.
  2. Avoid complex transformations before loading the data.
  3. Ask your SAP team to check for timeout/payload limits on the OData service.
