Unable to update Data Source settings

I have a list of Data Sources for multiple SQL Server databases. The server name used in the connection source setting is the short hostname; i.e. server1.

I need to update it to be the FQDN; i.e. server1.domain.com and can do so for ths first entry but when I make the update for the second entry it undoes my first entry.

Anyone else having this issue?

    Hi, Rsorrentno
Thanks for reaching out to the Microsoft fabric community forum.

In my test environment, I also tried directly changing the data source. The changes did not cause any issues initially, but once a refresh was involved, it resulted in data structure mismatches.

I recommend creating a new query in Power Query to replace the same query steps. This method is highly effective and safe.
