Unable to type in email address in Sign in pop-up

The Sign-in popup in Power BI Desktop is not allowing me to type in my email address.  When I click on the Email textbox nothing happens and I am unable to enter any text in the field.  I have a similar issue (not being able to type text in) in several other places throughout the software (for example when trying to create a table).  Has anyone encountered this before?  I imagine this may be some sort of a security setting either in BI or in Windows, but which one?  I'm running Windows 7.

I could not reproduce your issue. Please check if power bi desktop has been updated to the latest version. If your power bi desktop is already the latest version, try closing power bi and open again.
