Unable to select two variants (e.g Months, year etc ) in one PBI sheet

Working in connection with Direct Query - We are trying to replicate an excel table in Power BI desktop. By using the Table/Matrix visualization, we put the desired row headers like, income, Expenses, Commision and column headers like actual, budgeted, variance. But for the data under the column headers, we need it for multiple variants, like 2 Months or Month and YTD. We cannot creat Monthly and/or YTD sections adjacent to each other in one slide. How can we do this?

Could you please share dummy data of your original table? In your scenario, you may need to create a disconnect table as described in the following blog.
