Unable to see the semantic model in getdata.

Hi all,

We are working with a client and they have given us admin rights in one of their workspaces. A semantic model has been built and we are trying to access the semantic model from PBI desktop.

I am not able to see or connect to that specific semantic model. Kindly help or point me to the right direction.

Is it because of tenant issues?

I downloaded a version of the model into my onedrive and built some reports, the issue is it does not refresh and displays key does not match any rows in the table.

Thanks for @amitchandak reply. If you want to use Power BI Desktop to connect to the semantic model in Workspace on Service, this is not allowed and there is no such functionality. To achieve normal refresh, you must connect to the data source and configure the gateway. Downloading the semantic model directly does not connect to the data source, so the refresh does not work. You can either ask the client to provide access to the data source or do everything on the client's side.

@MonikaSaravanan , Make sure on Power BI Desktop, that you are logged in with the same login.  Also, check permission at the semantic model level.
