Unable to save changes under Options/Settings in Power BI Desktop

Hi,  One of my co-workers is unable to save changes in the Option Settings.  We tried different options to change, but it doesnt work. No error message is shown.    Steps that my colleague perfor...

Hello, I had the same error and what helped me was to enter option by option until in my case I saw that in Save and recover there was an error message when I wanted to save the autosave file and that's why it didn't allow me to make any changes until I solved that error.

I recommend that you click on all the options until you see if there is an error in any of them and correct them so that it allows you to click OK when you want to make other changes

    Thank you, although this answer is almost a year old, today is April 2025, it had always been useful for me to install and uninstall, but not this time, and your response was effective, even if I disable the save in folder option is when the error appears, you change to a correct path, even if you uncheck it and the OK button works again.
