Hello Community,
Previously, PBI Desktop would not allow multiple users to work on the same PBIX file at the same time.
Now, it appears that PBI Desktop will allow multiple users to work on the same PBIX file at the same time but the 2nd user to access this file cannot save changes.
This scenario means that I have 2 members of staff accessing, amending reports, creating visuals, refreshing data etc but they both cannot save the file so therefore the 2nd persons work cannot be saved.
I understand why as PBI may not be able to make the decision about who's work is more important that the others. However, this option is just not a viable solution.
Is there anything that can be done to remedy or revert back to having 1 person access 1 PBIX file at any time?
Thanks,
Jordan
