Unable to pull data into power BI desktop through OneDrive

Hi there,   I've been trying to get excel data from OneDrive but I've been getting an error stating "Access to the resource is forbidden" though the file was uploaded to the OneDrive by myself and ...

Hi Anonymous ,

After test, it has no issues that I am logging in with different accounts in Power BI and One Drive. But when you get data from OneDrive, you must type OneDrive credentials rather than use your Power BI account, please follow the steps below.
1. Click File->Options and Settings->Data source settings->clear your previous permission.

2. In Power BI desktop, type the link, please choose the Organizational Account to sign in(because use OneDrive for business, type your Organizational Account of OneDrive here), it will work fine after clicking connect. In this part, if you use windows authentication, it will return the error message, because you current power BI account is not windowns account.

    Even after trying to login to organizational link, pop up comes saying we cannot authenticate you

      could it be that you have microsoft authenticator step that is needed from company policy? 

      So it always needs authenticator confirmation, i have the same issue and just was thinking that this might cause the issue.
