Unable to open the file.

I am not able to open the existing PBIX file. When I try to open it gives error: Unable to Open Document. We weren't able to restore the saved database to the model. I am using July 2018 updated Power BI version. I see in few posts related to this error that the problem has been solved in later version, but I am still getting the same error! Thanks. Prashant-

    Hi ppgandhi11,

     

    Did you try to open the existing .pbix file created with the same desktop version (July 2018)? Or opened a report created with older desktop version? Besides, did you install the desktop from Windows Store?

    when I launch the power bi exe and do file open on existing file: I get: We weren't able to restore the saved database to the model.
