Unable to move or resize visualizations in Power BI Desktop
I'm unable to move or resize the visualization I create in Power BI Desktop. They all have the same size and it is impossible to move them. I even reinstalled Power BI Desktop and tried it in a different laptop but without succes. Is this an known issue?
Thanks for reply.
We’ve just released a new version of PBI Designer that should address the issue with moving and resizing visuals. You can download it from the link below:

Hi Asil. It's definitely not a known issue. What OS and IE version do you have?- jdt008

Hey Will. Any chance we can see a listing of all known issues? We are feeling a bit left in the dark, and when we do encounter a bug, all our hopes and dreams of getting feedback usually rest with end users helping us to find workarounds that are not sustainable. We desperately want to gain end-user adoption with PBI, however it's really difficult to manage expectations the way things are going. Please help!! Thank you.

Hi WillT,
Thanks for your reply. We are using Windows 8.1 Enterprise and IE 11.
I used Power BI Designer previously and had no problem resizing and moving visualizations. I try to organize a demo of Power BI Desktop for my colleagues so they can start using Power BI (alongside QlikView) but will have no chance to convince them when I am unabl to move or resize visualizations.
Hope you can help. I alraedy tried installing the application on a couple of laptop but without success.

The only time I was not able to resize visuals was when I was on my Surface 3 Pro and used either my finger or a Surface Pen. However the minute I started using my mouse, I was abe to move and resize things with no problem.

Hi Asil ,
I've had the same issue, just uninstalling Power BI Desktop and installing it again solved the problem.
Good luck,
Alaeddin

Thanks Alaeddin. We tried to reinstall Power BI Desktop a couple of time but without success.
It is quite frustrating that we can't move or resize visualizations.
Hope somebody can help us with this.
Regards,
Asil

I had installed on a Windows 2012 R2 server through a user account that was not the main administrator account and through the Windows store. I signed on through the main admin account and downloaded from https://powerbi.microsoft.com/downloads. I reran the install, in repair mode, and I can now resize and move the visualizations.

I've tried now with the local admin account without any success... deinstall it, install it, repair it - nothing works for me.
This is really annoying...

Is there any update from the Power BI Team regarding this annoying topic available?
As long as you are not be able to move or resize any visualizations, the tool is totally useless... just my two cents...
Cheers Mike
