Hi everybody.
I've a problem trying to mark a table as date table.
Steps I've followed:
1) Create a new blank report
2) Add a table with this expression: CALENDARIO = CALENDAR(DATE(2000,1,1),DATE(2050,12,31))
What I'm doing wrong?
Regards
Damian.
@dslanovic I followed your steps and was able to create and mark "CALENDARIO" as a datetable.
You can close and relaunch your PBIX file, then try the process again. Use the Table view to create a new date table and mark
I hope this help.
Not enough memory? Can you try this after you rebooted your PC?
I tried both suggestions: close/open the pbix file, restarted de PC, but no look, the error still there...
Version: 2.137.952.0 32-bit (octubre de 2024)
Windows 10 Pro 22H2
Any particular reason for using the 32 bit version?
Yes. Have a 32 bits ODBC datasource that handles a connection to a 32 bits DBMS. There is no posibilities to migrate it to 64 bits arquitecture
did my sample file work?
Mmhhhhh... I opened it and saw the table marked as date table. Then I uncheked it. And then I tried to check it back and the error appears...
maybe a bug in the 32bit version? Can you roll back to an older version?
Previous monthly updates to Power BI Desktop and the Power BI service - Power BI | Microsoft Learn
May be, can't tell you. This is a fresh installation.
Also, this is a blank report, there is no older version...
Sorry, I misunderstood. You mean an older version of Power BI. I'll try
Once removed the latest version, I installed the one of June 2024:
Release: June 2024
Product Version: 2.130.930.0 (24.06) (x86)
OS Version: Microsoft Windows NT 10.0.19045.0 (x64 es-ES)
And I successfully mark a table as date table
So yes, it seems to be a bug...
