Hi everyone,
My file is real big now and i have to take some actions. One of them, i believe, is ucheck "unable to load" some queries.
Let's imagine this situation:
My company has 3 shops.
Then i will have a query for each shop. It doesn't matter the source but they're csv's and xml. I append them and in this new file called "Sales" i will merge it with products ID query, Contry/Region query and Customer ID query, all in the same table, "Sales".
In order to save some time on refreshing and on the size of pbi file, i will uncheck EVERY TABLE/QUERY that i'm not gonna use to do reports, unbale to load report. Is this correct? Anything else that i should know?
Thank you so much for all your help
Best regards
Pedro

Hi @Anonymous ,
Are you meaning the uncheck the "Enable load in report" feature in Power Query Editor for query, based on this thread,
If we disable the option "Enable Load" for the query, when we apply the change, this query table data will not be loaded to data model. But when we refresh the dataset, there is also a query sent to data source. See: https://radacad.com/performance-tip-for-power-bi-enable-load-sucks-memory-up
When we disable the "Include in Report Refresh" option, data will not update in report view of Power BI Desktop after you click "Refresh" button in Desktop. It does nothing to the power BI Service.
If you want to reduce the size of data set, Please refer to this guide: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/guidance/import-modeling-data-reduction
