Unable to get new Oracle Database connection information
I have such a case: 1. All can work well before Oracle database connection string change. 2. Because DB change, so updated tnsnames.ora file with new DB info. 3. Open Power BI desktop, same pbix,...

I finally fixed the issue found in my colleagues' power Bi desktop, the problem is not within PB like having cache etc as what I had thought early, just the tnsnames.ora has something wrong.

Thank you to help check!
I red those two posts, mine is a little different. Before making DB change all work well, this only DB server host change, and no error like what they got when refreshing the report just still read old DB info. Seems some cache somewhere, but I have no idea where.

Are you able to connect to that DB using some other tool like SQL developer?
from the same machine, you have power BI.
