hello Rena. yes, you understand correctly my issue. Thank you for providing solution. Due to certain limitations and policies at our end, we could not apply this solution. sorry for that. As i have not applied above solution to my problem, i do not know whether it is correct or not. If in future i am able apply, i will definitely let you know. If I understand correctly, it seems that you got the error message when you tried to connect Access in Power BI Desktop. Am I right? First, please install the client software(Northwind.accdb) which refer in the error message popup. Then make sure you have installed the Access Database Engine. And the bit version of Access Database Engine should match your Power BI Desktop version. You can refer the following links to make troubleshooting and try to solve the problem.
