Unable to get 4 millions of rows into PowerBI desktop with PPU user

Hi,

I have recently upgraded my account to PPU to publish a dataset which have 4 million rows (15 years of sales data). I am getting below error. I used to work with 3 yrs of data in Pro. This is critical to me to resolve the error. Please help.

I am connecting to Oracle Materialized view. I do not want to do incremental refresh because it should refresh one time in Import and will publish to PPU workspace. Other Pro user workspaces have many reports which need to get this data. Hope Pro to PPU reference will not be a problem

@ykannan PPU won't affect anything in the Desktop, just what features and functionality you have when published to the Service. So, to be clear, this error is occurring on the Desktop when trying to import the data? Any idea of the dataset size and how much memory do you have in your computer?

You could check the Issues forum here:

And if it is not there, then you could post it.

I belive the error is more on the Oracle database side than Power BI. This error usually means the connection to the database was severed due to reasons such as server reboot, network issues, etc. I would check the log files for any detailed/specific errors. http://www.dba-oracle.com/m_ora_03113_end_of_file_on_communications_channel.htm

Also, see if the resoltuion mentioned in the following post helps - https://stackoverflow.com/questions/44378281/ora-03113-end-of-file-on-communication-channel-after-2-...

Thanks @Greg_Deckler . I did not have enough space in my computer. I made some space by deleting unwanted big files and it works.
