Unable to edit tables in Semantic Model
The button to edit tables in one of my Semantic Models is grayed out for me. I am not able to click on it and neither is a co-worker of mine. Hovering over the button does not show anything. Not sure why this is happening?
This is a first for me.
Oh... you have to click on a table for it be clickable. That is weird.

Resolver I
I was facing same issue. But in my case I forgot to select the any table which makes this option disabled. And there is one more limitation that if the semantic model is a linked dataset, it is read-only.

Possible reasons why this option is greyed out.
Direct Query or Live Connection dataset:
If the dataset connects live to another model—such as a shared semantic model, Analysis Services, or another Power BI dataset—it becomes read-only, meaning you cannot edit tables directly in the Power BI Service.Managed or Certified dataset owned by someone else:
Certified or managed datasets in large organizations often restrict editing to maintain data integrity and governance. You can build reports and visualizations from them, but you cannot modify their schema or structure.Semantic model created from Dataflows or external sources:
When a semantic model depends on linked dataflows or external data sources, online table editing is disabled to ensure the connections and data integrity remain intact. - AnonymousNot applicable
