Unable to connect with Google BigQuery in Power BI

I built the report in Power BI Desktop by connecting to Google BigQuery. Now, I want to connect some additional tables from BigQuery into Power BI. However, I am encountering the following error:

I am a Google BigQuery admin with full access. Can anyone advise me on how to resolve this issue? I have published my report to Power BI Service and can schedule it.

However, I am unable to do so in Power BI Desktop (earlier I built the report) now and am not sure why. I have checked similar posts but have not been able to solve the problem.

Please advise.

Hi @Sean500 -If you are behind a proxy, ensure that the proxy settings in Power BI Desktop are correctly configured. Power BI may be unable to reach the BigQuery REST API due to the proxy not being properly resolved. If you're using the BigQuery ODBC driver, ensure that it is properly installed and configured. Check the version of the driver; updating it to the latest version might resolve the issue.Ensure that the Google BigQuery ODBC DSN is configured correctly, and that Power BI is set to use the correct DSN for the connection.

. Ensure that you have the correct proxy server name and port number.your firewall or network settings allow Power BI Desktop to access BigQuery's endpoints. Sometimes network restrictions or security settings can block outgoing connections to specific APIs, including Google BigQuery. You may need to talk to your network or IT team to allow traffic to Google BigQuery's domain.

Thanks. This is just a standalone account, we are not behind any proxy settings. Initially it was connecting now not working. I tried with dataflow in the Power BI service as per suggestion by other posts and it is working. Very strange.
