Hello, I have installed Microsoft Power BI Desktop (Optimized for Power BI Report Server - September 2025) , and I have installed "OracleClientForMicrosoftTools_x64_19 (3)" driver. I am able to connect to Oracle database using "DBServer:PortNumber/SERVICE_NAME" . I want to use TNS Names file to connect to database but when I give TNS names its failing. When I do TNS Ping in the command line its working fine. What other configuration I am missing. How can I use TNS file entry while connecting to database.
Thank you,
Rajani

Thank you Ibendlin for your reply, I did then I am getting below error. TNS ping is successful and I am able to connect to Oracle DB using Pl/sql developer.
Have a look at your PATH environment variable. You may have multiple clients installed and Powr BI may be looking in the wrong folder for the tnsnames.ora
if tnsping is working then you can use the tnsnames entry as the "server".
