Unable to connect to PostGres SQL Database - b03f5f7f11d50a3a

Hi,

 

I am new here and unsure if this is the right section to post an issue I am currently facing with PBI Desktop trying to connect to a Postgres SQL Database.

 

The following error arises after I input all the relevant credentials, etc.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I note that I have done the following:

1)Reinstall PBI Desktop

2)Run as administrator

3)Install latest version of npgsql 

4)Repair .Net Framework 

 

I have tried everything but still unable to figure out what the issue is.

 

Would someone please assist me with this!:smileyhappy:

    Could you check if you follow the steps below:

    Install Npgsql v4.1.1,

     

    Note before retrying to connect, go to Edit queries->data source setting->clear permission for the Postgres SQL Database, then restart Power BI Desktop.
