Hi everyone,
I am working on a remote project for a client who requires a fixed IP address. I have a VPN with a dedicated IP address that I have shared with the client to allow me to connect to Amazon Redshift via Power BI.
However, I am unable to connect and I am receiving the following error message:
Details: "ODBC: ERROR [08S01] [Microsoft][Amazon Redshift] (10) Error occurred while trying to connect: [SQLState 08S01] timeout expired "
The client has confirmed that I am on the whitelist and that I have the necessary permissions, so it seems like the issue is not on their end.
I have never worked with Amazon Redshift before, so I am not sure if I have made any configuration errors. If I cannot find a solution, I will not be able to complete this project, which would be a huge setback for me.
I would really appreciate any help or suggestions you can provide.
