Hello,
I recently facing an issue with one of my dashboard which I was asked to clear the permission by the support team. This unfortunately creates another problem. I'm no longer able to connect to the database via ODBC connection. It is now stuck at "Creating connection in model..." and nothing happen.
I have set up the credentials using Windows credentials (like previously) but still nothing.
Please can someone help?
Thank you.

@Mimi_Ibrahim Which version of Power BI are you using? The Sept-Oct releases show 'Creating Connection in Model' for ages, but if you are patient will eventually load the data. This will be fixed with Nov update or you can revert back to Aug release if you still have it.

Hi @AllisonKennedy,
I'm using the latest one downloaded today (uninstalled and reinstall). Unfotunately I've deleted the older PBI desktop setup when I clean up my folders recently 😞
Do you know where I can get the older version?
I've been waiting since morning but no luck with the data load. Will wait for another 2 - 4 hours (If I have the patience!
Many thanks for your prompt reply.
@Mimi_Ibrahim I have saved some older versions here you can try: https://excelwithallisonmvp.sharepoint.com/:f:/s/Training/Ek4sCJaik_1Lnz9QWRuKcdkBMCuNq_GGJu-myiwXIm...
I'm just copying over the August version now, so you may need to check in an hour if it's not there the first time you look.
