Unable to connect MySQL Database via Power BI Desktop

Hi,

 

While connecting MYSQL database from Power BI Desktop, I am getting below error message. Any quick help would be really appreciated.

 

ERROR:  MySQL: Fatal error encountered during data read

    Hi Tahreem24 ,

    Did it occur when you choose the tables, or when  you import it to Power Query to edit it?  Please check whether the vision of Power BI is 2.71.5523.941  and the vision of MySQL is latest. And there is a similar thread when import it to Power Query you can reference.

      Hi v-xuding-msft ,

       

      It occurs when I choose table name. And I am using  2.70.5494.761 (June 2019)version.

        Hi Tahreem24 ,

        Can you please try to update the vision of Power BI? There are some problems that are caused by the version.  Currently I'm not sure if yours is the same.
