Hey , @Aartibhilare
In Power BI Report Builder, or in paginated report footer size adjusts to its content. To resize, ensure all elements fit within the desired space. Remove or resize oversized items, adjust page margins, and ensure the report body fits the page minus margins. Test in preview to confirm the footer renders correctly without clipping.

It sounds like you're trying to adjust the footer size in a Paginated Report in Power BI, but the changes you're making to the footer size are not being applied as expected. This issue can sometimes happen due to the settings or properties of the footer, as well as how the report layout is defined. Here's a list of possible solutions to resolve the issue:
1. Check Footer Properties:
In Power BI Report Builder (or SQL Server Reporting Services - SSRS), you can customize the footer's size by adjusting the properties in the Properties pane. Make sure you're adjusting the correct properties:
Height of the Footer:
Select the Footer section (click on the gray area at the bottom of the report).
In the Properties pane, look for the Height property and manually adjust the value.
Page Size:
If the page size is too small, it might prevent the footer from expanding. Go to the Report Properties and ensure the Page Size (under the Layout tab) is appropriate.
You can also check the Margins to make sure they are not restricting space for the footer.
2. Check for Footer Content Overflow:
If the content inside the footer (e.g., textboxes, images, etc.) is too large, it may be preventing the footer from resizing. Ensure that:
The content inside the footer (like textboxes) isn't too large.
If necessary, reduce the content size (font size, image size, etc.) to ensure it fits.
3. Ensure No Page Breaks:
Sometimes, a page break in the report may prevent footer resizing or push the footer to the next page. Make sure that:
There is no accidental Page Break setting before the footer.
In the Group Properties or Textbox Properties, check if a page break is set before the footer and remove it if necessary.
4. Adjust Margins:
The Footer size might be affected by the bottom margin of the report. Adjusting the Bottom Margin might give the footer more space to resize properly:
Go to Report Properties and change the Bottom Margin.
5. Restart Power BI Report Builder:
After making changes to the footer size or layout, sometimes the tool may not immediately reflect the changes due to temporary glitches. Try saving your work, closing, and reopening Power BI Report Builder.
6. Check for Version/Compatibility Issues:
Ensure you're using the latest version of Power BI Report Builder or any other SSRS tool you're working with. Outdated versions can sometimes cause issues with features not working as expected.
7. Set Footer in the "Page Footer" Section:
Ensure that you're editing the Page Footer section and not the Report Footer, as the settings for these two are different.
You can go to the Design tab and check if the footer is in the right section and adjust the height accordingly.
