Unable to authorize GitHub for PowerBI

Trying to connect to GitHub from Power BI desktop, but the authorize PowerBI button on the "Authorize GitHub for Power BI page" is disabled. I suspect it has something to do with the message that states "please note that github no longer supports internet explorer". 

Steps to reproduce:

1. get data --> github --> connect
2. enter owner and repository name, for example, MicrosoftDocs and powerbi-docs
3. click "sign-in"
4. another screen opens: 
   1. URL: https://github.com/login/oauth/authorize
   2. banner at top: "Please note that GitHub no longer supports internet explorer
   3. Main text: "Authorize GitHub for PowerBI
   4. Green button, which is disabled: "Authorize PowerBI"

Any workarounds for this?
