Unable to authenticate on PME tenant using a YubiKey

Hi,

I'm currently working on migrating all our Azure resources from Microsoft tenant hosted subscription to another PME tenant hosted subscription.

In PowerBI, I then need to change the data sources hosted on our old Microsoft Azure subscription to their corresponding locations on our new subscription hosted on PME tenant.

I add a new source (get data), choose "Azure Data Lage Storage Gen1", paste its URL, and try to sign in. I enter my "pme.gbl.msidentity.com" account and I'm redirected to the CEDI authentication interface. > Sign in using a certificate, choose my PME certificate,  but then, I keep getting the Windows security message: "Connect a smart card."

I'm using a YubiKey instead and it should be recognized but it's not the case apparently.

Does anyone has a workaround for that?

Thanks
JC

    Hi Anonymous ,

Sorry I can't reproduce your problem, but I found this similar post:

He end up turning to use API Key to authenticate, people can create the key in API Access tab in Application Insights.

Hi Stephen, many thanks for your reply. I tried again this morning and managed to authenticate with the YubiKey. It was maybe a transient issue. I'll accept your answer as solution to close the topic.

    thanks again
