Unable to Find All months in X Axis for Line Chart

Hi Team,

I'm unable to find all months in a year in X- axis for line chart.  For eg: in the below screenshot I could see alternamte months only on x-axis, though, I have the data for entire year including feb, aplril etc.  How to get all the months in x-chat( in my scenario I'm lloking for the data for antire 2022 year months, like jan2022,feb022,march 2022 etc), as I have already enlarged the  axis for entire screen. Could you please  help me understand how to get this?

My X- axis is set to continuous only

Basically I have the data, now I have attached the screenshot below for your reference. If I filter the data  for 7-8 months, I am able to see all the months with year, Once I remove the filter, then  my x- axis is displayed  with alternate months. 

Unfortunately I'm unable to see format x-axis option, could you please share any relevant screenshots

There are a few things you can try to show all months on the X-axis of your line chart in Power BI:

1. Change the Axis Type: If the X-axis is currently set to a text or categorical type, change it to a date type. To do this, right-click the X-axis and select "Format Axis." In the Format Axis pane, select "Continuous" for the axis type.

2. Group by Month: If your data includes multiple records for each month, it may be aggregated or summarized in some way that is hiding some of the months. To show all months, you'll need to group your data by month. To do this, right-click the date field in the Fields panel, select "New Group," and then select "Month." This will create a new field that aggregates your data by month.

3. Adjust the Interval: If you're still not seeing all months on the X-axis, try adjusting the interval of the axis. Right-click the X-axis and select "Format Axis." In the Format Axis pane, under "Intervals," you can set the number of units (in this case, months) that should appear between tick marks on the axis.

If these steps don't work, it's possible that there is a problem with your data. Make sure that your date field is formatted correctly and that there are no missing values. If you continue to have trouble, consider reaching out to the Power BI community for additional support.

Did you create and add a Date Table to your model? if not then you should and then use Month field in your line chart

Hi,

You would need to create a new calculated column with Month-Year to then use it in your x axis.
