Unable to Connect to Teradata

I have successfully connected Power BI to Teradata using SQL statements previously however nothing I have tried for this database is working. Below is a screenshot of the error message.

 

 

 

"An error happened while reading data from the provider: 'This is usually a temporary error during hostname resolution and means that the local server did not receive a response from an authoritative server'"

    Hi Anonymous , this is a temporary error and might be because of DNS.

     

    Try using Teradata connectors by installing .NET data provider for teradata

    The issue ended up being machine related. We did find a work around where instead of connecting directly to the Teradata server we connected to the IP address of the server.
