Unable to Connect to Microsoft NAV

Hi Guys,

I am unable to connect to Microsoft NAV directly and also via OData Feed. I have read through most of the threads with similar challenges with no solution yet 😥.

I am not sure what the issue is exacty.

More Details..

First, I get the OData URL (this is required while connecting either through Microsft NAV (Beta) or OData Feed Data Source). I noticed, this only attepts to connect with https and not http.

Secondly, an authentication window pops requesting for username and password

PS - this is the only option if connecting via NAV but there are more authentication options connecting via OData.

However, there has been no success with the connections. I followed the steps as detailed https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics-nav-app/across-powerbi

Hello

Looks like you got the wrong server name.

URL from the fuente of ODataThe OData URL so that Power BI can access your company's data, such as https://mybusiness.com:7048/MS/OData/Company('CRONUS%20US').

Navision web services will display the name of the local company, perhaps not the public.

Is the port open?

Does The Navision Administration allow Odata?

What you can try before connecting to PowerBI,

try opening chrome with the odata address and will prompt you for username and password if the link is correct. And when that works, then you know you have the right address and you can go back to the PowerBI connection.

I hope this can help you.
