URL icon behavior changed in recent update?
With a recent update where the UI changed, the URL icon behavior seems to have changed/broke. Up until the change, I was able to add a URL to the rows of a matrix table and then flip on URL icon and it would change it to an icon. That seems to have stopped working. I've done all the proper initial setup by setting the type to WebURL, but it doesn't work.
The URL icon seems to only work for values now and not when you use it in a row. This worked before and I have existing files where it still works this way. However, in those files, now I can't flip it back and forth and it's permanently stuck in URL icon mode. New files, I can't get it to change either. It almost seems like this used to be supported and was saved into the file, but then they removed the ability to change it and set it.
Anyone know anything about this?

I see the same behavior. I would call that a bug. My hope was that they would enable this for column headers, not that they would remove it for row headers. If you have a Pro license you can consider raising a Pro ticket at https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/support/pro/
