UNION DAX Doesn't Return any Values
- Anonymous5 years ago
For such things you should use Power Query, not DAX. So, please, do yourself a favor and do it in PQ. Of course, I assume that this is a calculated table you want to create. By the way, ALLSELECTED should never be used like this (note that dynamic tables DO NOT exist in PBI). You don't seem to understand what this function does and when it should be used. Please read this to know what you're trying to do: The definitive guide to ALLSELECTED - SQLBI

Thanks for the info! As I mentioned I am new and selflearner. Eventhought you might not know, your text is a bit sounds rude. Anyway thank you for your time!

I can't see anything rude in there. Sorry.
By the way, if you really want to know DAX, you should read "The Definitive Guide to DAX" by Alberto Ferrari and Marco Russo. If you don't do this, you'll never know for sure that your DAX is correct. And I'm a self-learner too. I started to learn this stuff about 7 years ago, so trust me - you should start with the basics, not to go for the complex stuff which you don't know yet. If you do something because you can, be prepared to fail miserably. Just a word of warning from a PBI old-timer.

Hi NilR ,
Would you please show me the complete dax formula? Your formula looks good in your screenshot. Would you please check the condition in the filter clause, it may lead to 0 rows return.
