I have a data set for vessel shipments. Each shipment may constitute 2 or more data points (e.g. one shipment can have 3 rows of data). When I set up the table to do analysis, I would like to include a row to calculate the subtotal across each shipment but am unable to do so. May I know how can I go about solving this issue? Thank you.
@lilin ,
You may try the Matrix visual instead.
Thanks for getting back.
However, if I try the matrix visual, only the subtotal will be shown but not the individual values.
So for example, I have one shipment to country A, B and C with different quantities each. If I use Matrix, it will show up as shipment 1, country A then the subtotal.
But, I would like to display them in a format similar to the one below:
No. | Country | Quantity |
1 | A | 1,000 |
1 | B | 2,000 |
1 | C | 3,000 |
Subtotal | 6,000 | |
2 | D | 5,000 |
2 | E | 5,000 |
Subtotal | 10,000 | |
3 | C | 1,000 |
3 | F | 1,000 |
Subtotal | 2,000 | |
Total | 18,000 |
Is this possible to be done in Power BI?
Thank you!
