Hello,
Does anyone have a link to a JSON file that I can use for my shape map in Power BI which will allow me to split the map by Output Area (OA) / Lower Layer Super Output Area (LSOA) / Middle Layer Super Output Area (MSOA) ?
I have managed to find one for the Postal Areas within the UK as per the screenshow below but cannot seem to find it for the OA's.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Dale
Hi folks,
For anybody else who has this ancient thread come up when searching for MSOA boundaries, you can find MSOA boundaries (and LSOA and many other acronyms) at the Open Geography Portal; MSOA boundaries are currently available at this link: https://geoportal.statistics.gov.uk/search?collection=Dataset&sort=name&tags=all(BDY_MSOA%2CDEC_2011...
You'll need to convert the GeoJSON/Shapefile to TopoJSON if you want to use it, and the file is pretty enormous - some trimming to the boundaries that you actually need would probably be wise.
Cheers.
I'm after the same thing...
Hi @Anonymous ,
There is a modest collection of files in a GitHub repository at:

Hello @v-frfei-msft , thanks for your response. Unfortunately this only contains counties. I am looking for a more granular mapping json file as mentioned in my post (Output Areas, OA, MSOA, LSOA).
Thanks,
Dale
