UI Elements such as a Text control and handling filled map events

I have a filled map of particular countries and on clicking a country I want to change the values of a Text control with the info I have for that particular country. How do I create such a Text control and how do I handle events on a filled map? Thanks.

@HKimani you can create a measure and put the text value in the measure based on your country selection.
