Two slicers interactions possibilities

Hi Community,

 

I have a report with two slicers - one where you can select the name of a project and one where you can select the dates.

For both of the slicers i have set up Single select as i want my users to select only one project at a time and one date at a time.

I have two questions:

- is it possible to set Date created slicer to always display the latest value for dates? (this will change over time as more data is added in the background)

- when i select another project the date created will stay on the old selection, turning the whole report blank. For example, if i know move to Project 1234 that doesnt have Date create = 20 October 2022, but (let's assume) date created = 21 October 2022, the report will show blank cause i need to deselect 20 october and select 21 october manually. is there a way that i can avoid this?

 

Please let me know if more info is needed from my side.

Hi! thank you for your answer. 

i seem to understand that if marked with "latest date" it will not show the date behind it..
