Two relationships
Hi,
I would like to ask for help with this case.
I have a model with one fact table and one category dimension witch selectes users by two different logics.
I would like to built two measures on fact table so that one measure will work on one filter path and second measure on second
logic.
As far as I am familiar with engine tabular engine will pick one way on filtering based on Group dim table. Is there a way to force which way it will go to filter measure based on fact table.

Hi @Marcin ,
How are you going to define the path the the Model should take for displaying the data in the report?

Hi @Thejeswar
I would like to create a measure on fact table like for example DISTINCTCOUNT(FactTable[User]) and present it by Date , but the challenge is to be able to Filter this measure by Group Dim [Category name] in two different logics. ( LDAP and MU Group ). To be more specific, there should be two measures, one filtered by LDAP way and second by MU Group way.

Hi @Marcin ,
When you are connecting the Fact table by 2 flows, one of the flow won't work as there would always be a problem with defining which flow should work. Ultimately, if I am not wrong, the system is going to decide it 🙂
Instead have two similar fact tables with respective measures based on the flow.
Then introduce a bookmark and add similar slicer to the bookmark pages and sync them. This will allow the selection in the slicer to run across bookmarks. Now give an image or some clickable option for the users to chose the flow based on which the data has to be displayed. Based on the selection render the bookmark. Hope this helps
