I have a PBIX that loads a Date table from a spreadsheet, twice. (AS DATEP1 and DATEP2) This Date table extends to 12/31/2024.
There are no active relationships with either table. There is one inactive relationship for each, used by certain measures.
I put a basic slicer on each of these tables. Filters on each slicer are (All)
The filter for DATEP1 will only go up to 12/31/2022. When I try to type in a date, 1/1/2023, the last digit 3 returns a 2. 1/1/24, the last digit 4 returns a 2. Calendar selector works the same.
DATEP2 works just fine. These tables are identical in every way.
Any ideas?
Thanx
Phil

Hello. The name of this PBIX is Two Period Compare. It is used to compare sales, margins, etc. for any two periods of time. I can choose 1st quarter this year, vs 1st quarter last year. I can compare a one month period to the previous 6 months to look at the impact of a particular marketing campaign, inventory issue, customer change. Complete freeform comparisons between any to periods of time, only works with two completely seperate date tables, and inactive relationships that are touched with specific measures.
That being said, while trying to create a dumbed down file to upload here, I ended up deleting and adding the two date tables again, deleted and added the two filters again, and now it works just fine. Go figure.
Thanx
Phil
Hi @PhilSmith
Why are you using 2 copies of the same Date Table? Just use 1.
I'm not following what it is you are trying to do. I understand the issue with the slicers, but what is the overall purpose?
A file and sample data always helps us understand better.
regards
Phil
