Twitter datetype to Power BI date type
Hey,
I have Twitter date that have a specific Twitter format for date:
Sun Oct 15 15:55:29 +0000 2017 |
I would like this to be:
| 15 10 2017 |
or any workable variation on this. Is there any way to do this in Power BI?
xadya I am assuming the format of twitter dates doesn't change at all
- Using powerquery extract the year and the date
- Create a separate Months table with Month Name and Month Index (1-12)
- Then write a calculated column to combine all 3 (year, month, date) into a single date
