Turnover YTD vs turnover LYTD (Total)

I have a datetable called 'DateTable'.

As there is no Date Table, i tried to create two measures like this:

SumTurnoverYTD = 
VAR _day = MAX(tbl[date])
RETURN
CALCULATE(
    SUM(tbl[Turnover]),
    tbl[date]>=DATE(YEAR(_day),1,1)&&tbl[date]<=_day
)
SumTurnoverLYTD = 
VAR _day = MAX(tbl[date])
RETURN 
CALCULATE(
    SUM(tbl[Turnover]),
    tbl[date]>=DATE(YEAR(_day)-1,1,1)
        &&tbl[date]<=DATE(YEAR(_day)-1, MONTH(_day),DAY(_day))
)

 

it worked like this:
