Trying to use data 'properties' as in Excel PivotTable
Hi everyone, I'm relatively new to using my company's SSAS cube with Power BI and am having trouble getting certain information to be available.
When viewing the data in an Excel PivotTable, I'm able to right click the data, hover 'Show proprties in report' and select to use additional fields, which don't appear on the list of fields to the right. I can't seem to get these additional fields to appear in PowerBI when important the cube. Apologies if the terminology isn't clear - does anyone know how to move forwards with this?
Hi Anonymous ,
As tested, It's impossible to get "additional fields" by this way in Power BI Desktop. ( My version: 2.76.5678.541 64-bit (December 2019) )When you import the cube in Power BI Desktop, the imported data is the data you added to the pivot table.
Maybe you can submit your idea to Power BI Ideas
Or maybe you can import data directly from the SSAS database.
