Troubleshooting table relationship issue

Hey guys,

Appreciate your help to solve the problem about the table relationship. In detail, I have 2 tables - A and B - that share a common column named "Store". I link them up by Many to One (Many stores in table A but only unique stores in Table B).

All works well till I added one new store in both tables recently and it's not connected after multiple attempts (refer to the first role in below screenshot)

Do you know the reason why this only new store can't be linked between 2 tables? Many thanks!

Hi @v-chenwuz-msft

I reloaded the excel file and rebuilt the relationship. This time it works and problem is solved, Im not sure why. Thank you anyway!

Hi @v-chenwuz-msft

Thanks for the suggestion. Unfortunately, i have checked several times to ensure that names in both tables are the same. To simplify my check, I changed the name in both tables to be "A" (to make sure the space is not an issue)

Below screenshot of the same problem. They can't sync with each other despite the same name, hence im afraid VALUES may not be helpful neither...

Do you have any other thoughts on this matter? Many thanks!

Hi @milkynight ,

If possible, please share your pbix file without sensitive data.

Hi @milkynight ,

I guess the new store name of Table B is not the same as Table A, please check if there some space at the end of the string.

I recommend you to create the one side via VALUES().
