I was new to BI 6 months ago, and haven't really had to program much since, but I've reached an impasse. In the above file, I'm trying to show a time series filtered on a particular model type from the slices on the page. I believe I need help with the relationships. My first effort flattened the data in Excel, but then I had multiple:mutiple issues. I've now elminated that, but still can't get it to work. I'm trying to replicate something akin to the bottom blue line in the image below. Once I create that, I think I'll be able to get the other lines to display, but will require additional calculations. Thanks in advance for any help or direction you can provide.
Hi @mrothschild
First please check if your pbix file contains any private information, if so, please delete it and show only some public data example.
I'm not clear about which column/measure you want to add in the line chart so to create a line chart as provided above.
is it "Annual Depreciation" measure and "year" column?
Could you describe your goal with more details?
I've since updated the PBIX file. I've left in the old tab and renamed it to "Transactions" and added a new tab, called "Projections". On the Projections tab, I've changed the Aggregated Model slicer so that it's slicing from the RVs data instead of the "Ascend_Slicers" data as previously. Now the visuals labeled "Annualized Depreciation" and "Future Values" are behaving as intended, but the legacy visuals don't change (because they're not correctly linked to the slicer). So what I'm trying to do is to link the slicers so that everything on one sheet or the other will change with that selection.
I can't seem to get the relationships correct.
Thanks!
