Trouble with button segmentation behavior with 2 buttons
- 6 months ago
Hi EugenioProlog ,
Since both slicers are field parameters, selecting one shouldn’t clear the other. This usually occurs when the measure returns BLANK because the filter context changes as you switch granularity.
Here are a few things to check.
1. Does SELECTEDVALUE(Seletor_MRR_ARR[mrr_arr]) return BLANK when you select Quarterly?
2. Turn on Edit interactions and make sure the granularity slicer isn’t filtering the ARR/MRR slicer.
3. Try placing Formatted_Trimestral directly on the axis (without the parameter) to see if the measure still disappears.
If the visual only blanks on Quarterly, it may be a context issue related to the calendar column used in that parameter.
I hope this clarifies the situation. If I’ve misunderstood any part of your situation, please let us know.
Hi EugenioProlog are you using bookmarks for navigation or field parameters?

They are not bookmarks; they are Field Parameters with segmentation buttons.

Could you explain closer the modeling behind it? I am guessing you have one column, which is supposed to return the information on M/Q/Y for the filed parameter and then another field parameter, which switches 2 measures?
However this way it should work fine... as long as the M/Q/Y is done correctly...- EugenioProlog6 months agoHelper III
For the M/Q/Y, I have this field parameter:
Granularidade = {("Diário", NAMEOF(dim__calendario[dt_data]), -1), --(daily is hidden from the visual)("Mensal", NAMEOF(dim__calendario[dsc_mesano]), 0),("Trimestral", NAMEOF(dim__calendario[Formatted_Trimestral]), 1),("Anual", NAMEOF(dim__calendario[num_ano]), 2)}
For the ARR/MRR, I have a simple parameter on a created table called Seletor_MRR_ARR that has only one column, and looks like this:
mrr_arr
MRR
ARR
Then I have this metric on my dashboard:_Seletor_MRR_ARR =SWITCH(SELECTEDVALUE(Seletor_MRR_ARR[mrr_arr]),"MRR", [MRR Acumulado],"ARR", [ARR Acumulado],BLANK())
