Trouble with Averages

Hello,

I have recently inherited this report, and I am not sure about how the avergages of these columns are calculated, if there is any at all, which I doubt there is. How would I go about adding a subtotal in the column for 'Sales per LH? It needs to be two subtotals and then a grand total. These all need to be averages. PowerBI has added a number in those spaces, but it is not accurate. When I view the matrix in table mode, there is nothing showing the averages to those columns. I have attached screenshots of the table and of the matrix.  Any help would be appreciated!

Thank you,

Rachel

Hi @rachelherr ,

According to my understanding, you want to display avg value on each parent hierarchy, right?

I have reproduced your data sample based on the screenshots you provided, please take a look at this:

Here are the expressions of the Total Hours and the Total sales. TOT_HRS_WRKD and SUB_TOT are sums that come from our POS and are linked through azureTotalHours.PNGTotalSales.PNG

Hi Perry,

Thank you for responding. Here is the measure, There is only this, no average aggregate function of any kind. This is the only measure active on that column.

@rachelherr and what is the expression of Total Sales and Total Hours. trying to figure out what measure is causing the issue.
