Trouble merging queries & tables
So quick explanation of the data set that I am using.
2 queries from 2 different sources but the same exact column names, etc.and I need to combine the set & drop any null values so that I can create a trend line.
1 source has my data from 1/1/2013 till 1/1/2015, the other source is from 1/1/2015 to present.
What I attempted to do was perform a merge query for the two formulas, then selected a full join so all rows would be pulled in. Where this seems to have failed for me is that in order to get the data from query 2 to load I have to expand the table column that was added so as an example I have Date & Query2.Date. What I dont know how to do at this point is merge Date & Query2.Date so that only the 1 data set/ column is populated. I have read some other options for using append but I am not quite sure where/ how to do that.
I found the answer to my own question by appending the second query to the first, since all of the columns matched it was great.
* Note - any columns that are not in either query would be filled with a null value.
