Tricky Waterfall visual with many breakdowns

Maybe you can modify 'sort by column' property to use other column as the sort order:
Sort one column by another column in Power BI - Power BI | Microsoft Learn
However, in another document, it is mentioned that the waterfall chart does not support customized sorting for the time being. If the method in the above document cannot be tested and take effect, then this feature is not supported for the time being:

Hi Anonymous , I am afraid your' right and what I want to do it is not possible. I cannot use the "sort by column" proprty as the field I need to sort on (amount) it is not in the same table.
However I have switch to Simple Waterfall custom visual and it seems to work.
